It’s a place that offers only 100% American-made products, while providing more jobs for the U.S. citizens who make them. And, America will be “tuning in” to see the debut of Western New York’s new MADE IN AMERICA STORE.
Fox & Friends, the popular morning show on the Fox Television Network, will broadcast live from the new Elma, NY store on Friday morning, April 2nd. The segment is scheduled for 6:50am and will be carried in the Buffalo television market over Time-Warner Cable Channel 32.
The live telecast comes just one day before the GRAND OPENING of the store, which is located at 900 Maple Road in Elma. Hours of this special Saturday Grand Opening event are 8am to 6pm, with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony scheduled for 10am.
Store owner Mark Andol knows first hand what can happen when American jobs head to China. His General Welding & Fabricating Company lost a significant number of jobs when one of his accounts took his manufacturing overseas.
In opening his new MADE IN AMERICA STORE, Mark says he was surprised at how difficult it has been to find products that are one hundred percent American-made, which is why some of the merchandise he carries has to be made all or in part by his own fabricating company.
From lawn furniture, to canned American produce, there’s a large variety of items inside this new store. The popular Western New York-produced Kan-Jam can be found here, along with wooden yo-yo’s for children. Texas Jeans and Socks are also sure to be popular items. Plus, there’s an assortment of outdoor grills and fire rings that are produced by General Welding & Fabricating.
Many Americans seem to agree with Mark that such a store is a great idea and have called or stopped-by to express their support and gratitude for this commitment to the United States and its manufacturers.
Now, that the MADE IN AMERICA STORE is about to open its doors, don’t be surprised if a lot of these folks scoop-up one of the special “Made in America” T-Shirts that are hanging on the store’s American-made clothing racks. On the back of each shirt, it says “Save our country first”, followed by “Elma USA”.
