ELMA, N.Y. (AP) — Country singer Ricky Lee is giving a free 9/11 concert at a New York store that sells only American-made products like his new "Freedom" CD.
The Nashville recording artist will make a return visit to the Made in America store in the Buffalo, N.Y., suburb of Elma on Saturday, where he recorded a video for his song of the same name.
Under a contract with the National VFW, $5 of each "Freedom" CD sold goes to the VFW Military Assistance Program.
Lee says his CD is entirely American-made. It has to be to be carried by Mark Andol's Made in America store, which stocks only products that are made and packaged with U.S. materials as a way to help American workers.
The Ricky Lee concert will commemorate the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
