Buffalo Key Wings started with a dream: to allow people to bring that feeling they get from holding a delicious, spicy hot Buffalo chicken wing in their hand with them wherever they go. After years of testing, Michael Sprada, the founder of Buffalo

The idea was born right in the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, home of the original chicken wings. Michael was commissioned by the restaurant owner & Executive Chef, Ivano Toscani, to create a plate of fake chicken wings, celery & bleu cheese, to adorn the miniature Statue of Liberty that currently stands in the Anchor Bar.
Michael’s mantra through this whole process has been “Keep the Buffalo in the wing”. As many plastic companies recommended shipping the product’s operation overseas, Michael has kept production completely in the Buffalo area, and for now, under his own roof.
