He returned to the campsite and played with cases (for some reason we had a lot of them!?!) until he fashioned something that looked a bit like a cowboy hat. When he got home, he started playing with the idea and came up with something fun to wear while he was bartending. The original ones were made out of used cases (we recycle!!) and we were known to dumpster dive to get cases! We used staples and duct tape as part of the assembly!! But still people wanted to buy them.... And now here we are today!! Before kids came along we used to peddle the beer-hats ourselves while enjoying NASCAR races, concerts and festivals. We had so much fun!! Now, there are many resellers across the country and in Canada who are selling them. Coors Brewery sells them at their retail shop as well as the Miller Brewery. (MillerCoors now!) Penske Racing is also carrying the Miller Lite hat for Kurt Busch in their merchandise trailers! Take a look at our "Hats in Action" page. Many stars have worn our hats over the years!. There are other beer-hats out there, but ours are the only ones that are licensed, patented, made from new cases and professionally crafted. Each hat is still assembled and shaped by hand, but we also use a 15 ton hydraulic press and industrial sewing machines during assembly now. A long way from staples and duct tape!! We are basically a 'Mom and Pop' shop, but we can produce 5 or 5000 hats for you in a very short amount of time depending on your needs. We take customer service very seriously and will go out of our way to make you happy with our product and our service.
